2 x 8 Dome Pre-cut Complete Shell Kit

The Complete Shell Kits priced below include the following items:

Super-Lok connection hardware - hubs, plated steel sleeves, plated bolts, nuts, pins. Sleeves attached to 2x8 struts.

Risers - Standard heights for high profile are 28-1/2”, for low profile 45”. 5 riser walls come pre-assembled with intermediate 2x8 studs @ 24” o.c.(The rest of the risers come with pre-assembled corner riser struts and pre-cut intermediate studs and plates.) 3/4” exterior plywood is included and attached on 5 riser walls.

Struts - Metal sleeves are attached to select structural grade So. Yellow Pine exterior 2x8. Struts are pre-notched as part of the ventilation system.

Exterior Triangles - 3/4” exterior plywood pre-cut triangles are 2-piece (Model 625 & Model 1250 have some 3-piece triangles). Joint between 2 pieces is tongue and grooved.

Vent System - Lower base vent drip edge is enameled aluminum. Top vent cupola has complete pentagonal
frame pre-assembled with 3/4” plywood sheathing pre-cut. Includes aluminum drip edge, combination fascia/ soffit vent and aluminum base flashing between top vent cupola and shingle edge). Note: Top vent cupola not included in 16’ through 24’ diameter domes listed below.

Construction Manual includes complete installation instructions, drawings and video/DVD for assembling shell kit. Engineering certification of dome shell is included. All structural shell items are color coded or labeled for ease of assembly identification.

Prices shown below include all items listed above, our owner-builder tool package, and our premium fastener/nail package. The model number is the gross sq. ft. on the main floor.
