Elastomeric Liquid Roofing Systems

ROOF MATE is a water-based, high solids elastomeric
coating utilizing the latest advances in acrylic technology.
Premium quality acrylic resins are combined with reinforcing
laminar pigments, an effective biocide package
and non-migrating fire retardants, resulting in superior
durability, weatherproofing, ultraviolet resistance,
algae/mildew resistance and fire retardancy.

ROOF MATE is a highly reflective, permanently flexible
“breathing” membrane, allowing moisture vapor from
the substrate or building interior to escape while remaining
impervious to mass water penetration from the exterior.

Roof Mate has great performance qualities, with a 226 per cent elongation rate (even at freezing
temperatures) and an ultimate tensile breaking strength of 224 pounds per square inch. This material does not crack - it stretches.

Our dome joint (between the exterior panels) does not move in an earthquake or if the foundation shifts. Our dome is not a loose, flexing structure. Our wood domes do "absorb" movement. Roof Mate easily handles the minor movement from temperature extremes.

Roof Mate applied to our 3/4" plywood exterior dome panel can take hail impact and debris scrapes. Severe cutting of the skin can be easily repaired by recoating.

These rubberized roof coatings are applied as a liquid with a
thickness of 25 to 45 mils. They can be applied with a roller or spray equipment. Our ventilated dome shell and touch-sanded plywood surface are the perfect match to these coatings systems. Colors can be custom mixed to match anything. If you choose this roofing system, we can provide “flush” mounted custom skylights (extra charge) and create a very unique dome look.

Material costs vary from $190/sq to $220/sq. ($1.90 - $2.20 per square foot. $20.45 - $22.60 per square meter) for 45 mil. thick coating. Thinner coatings can be applied at less initial cost but would require top coat recoating sooner.

Primer - Acrylex 400 (white) for wood panels (covers 250 sf/gallon. 23 square meters/gallon)

Roof Mate Buttergrade (lt. gray) for filling joints between panels (coverage varies depending on size of open joint - expect a minimum of 50 - 75 LF / gallon to no more then 100 - 125 LF / gallon, 15m - 23m / gallon to no more than 30 - 38 m / gallon.)

Roof Mate Basecoat (med. gray) (for 15 mil. (.04 mm)
thickness, use 50 SF / gallon coverage - 4.6 sq. m / gallon)

Roof Mate color topcoat (for 25 mil. (.06 mm) thickness,
use 33 SF / gallon coverage - 3 sq. m / gallon)
Can be mixed to match ANY paint color.

United Cleaning Concentrate

United Cleaning Concentrate is a highly effective cleaning agent that, when combined with water, penetrates the existing coating or substrate and allows contaminants to be flushed from the surface. UCC performs at a very high level, with cleaning and pore-penetrating capabilities far exceeding most products available today.

Because United Cleaning Concentrate is 100% biodegradable and non-toxic, it can be washed off the surface without any harmful effects to the environment or ground vegetation.

• For optimum results, United Cleaning Concentrate should be diluted at a 1 to 10 ratio with water. Accordingly, 5-gallons (19 liters) should be mixed with 50-gallons (189 liters) of water in a 55-gallon (209 liter) drum.
• Apply the diluted cleaning solution to the substrate under low pressure at the rate of 150 to 200 sq. ft. per gallon (3.7 to 4.9 m2/l). Allow the solution to stand for a minimum of 15 minutes.
• For best results, rinse the surface with water under high pressure, utilizing either conventional spray or pressure washing equipment.
