For Velux VS skylights where you mount them within reach and want to open them by hand without the control rod.  Velux VS skylights come pre-packaged with their standard hook and they will not open the box to replace the hook prior to shipping.

Whether you simply want to control one electric venetian blind installed on a fixed skylight, or one-touch remote operation of multiple skylights and blinds, our Electric Control Systems allow you to enjoy any number of skylights installed at any height without sacrificing convenient operation. No controls are required for the VSE or for the interior or exterior blinds-it includes a pre-installed control system pre-wired for 2 blinds and a remote control, but an additional remote or keypad is optional.
