We first evaluate the leaky single-pane skylight windows

We removed the old windows and are noting the excessive caulk used to try and stop the leaking, which did not work

All 3 skylight windows are removed and the openings are being cleaned up for the new skylight's installation

Insulation is replaced and vapor barrier is redone and sealed properly

We are now installing 3/4" plywood in the opening, used for the skylight window frame

And cutting out the exact window dimensions for a perfect fit

Now it's time to install the protective Ice & Water Shield

2 of the 3, much larger, Triple-pane Low "E", gas-filled, Solargrey Integral tinted Skylights are in place

Shingling is replaced
